Guns:
My gun designs are based on my extensive research during 16 years of living on Oahu's North Shore.

The variety of conditions has allowed me to refine the subtle differences of the equipment needed for the "easier" or not so critical types of large surf to the pinned-out "pipeline" specialties. My preference is to work with the rider to determine the necessities for each individual order in the gun department.

Single Fins:
I also have extensive knowledge of single-fin boards, both the shorter “retro” style and guns for large surf. While not as common as the tri fin, the gun single fins are valid for a segment of the surfing population. Single-fin boards are still a favorite for some of the more experienced gun riders. They perform extremely well in a giant, wild ocean and they continue to surprise the younger riders with performance when the power switch is turned on!
