Full Gun
10'1" Predator for Brett Burcher

All around big wave performance, designed for conquering mountains of water, the full gun gets you into and out of the lineup with the confidence of fast paddling, smooth riding, solid hold and surprising looseness in turning ability. I have two basic design schools but customizing a surfboard for individuals is very important especially with the serious nature of the surf to be ridden with a full gun and a blend between the two is always welcome with customer input recommended.
The Edge: Moderately tapered deck out to low boxy rails with a soft bottom edge forward, a lot like your performance shortboard but expanded to gun proportion, slightly thinner nose and tail thickness and continual rocker. Perfect for those who prefer an easier turning, not so giant feeling in a gun for maneuvering but still need the length to meet the demands of a big swell.
Predator: Flatter deck out to full, dropped rails with enough edge to bite into steepness, fuller thickness especially under the chest, perfect for heavier surfers and those who just want maximum horsepower in a big wave gun.
Lengths: 9’0” to 10’ 6” (and up)
Widths: 20” to 21 ½” recommended
Thicknesses: 3” to 3 ½” or more if desired
Bottom Contours: V Throughout
Fins: Tri or Quad, single, slightly larger trailing fin recommended for tri. Glassed on or Future system recommended.
